Kia K2 Auto Shanghai 2011

Kia unveiled the Kia K2 Auto Shanghai 2011 el ‘The vehicle is specially designed for the Chinese market, the model based on the redesigned Rio and displays an aggressive style, which looks like Optima. K2 2012 Kia will begin production in June and will be joined by a five-door hatchback in August and should reach the European market in late summer this year.

2012 Kia K2 specifications have not been released, but the 1.4-liter engine will probably produce 109 hp (80 kW / 108 hp) and 136 Nm (100 lb.-ft.) of torque. If it is not strong enough, exceeding 1.6 liter 135 hp should develop (99 kW / 133 hp) and 165 Nm (122 lb.-ft.) of torque.
Dimensions of the Kia K2 2012-4 370 mm long, 1700 mm wide, 460 mm height and a wheelbase – 2,570 mm, which is the longest in its category. The size will require extended K2 cabin space best-in-class and a large luggage capacity of 500 liters.
